1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Uptown Hotel Daet website and reservation system, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Reservation Policy
2.1 Booking Process
Reservations are made through our online booking system. Upon submitting a reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation email with your unique reference number. A reservation is considered confirmed once you receive this confirmation.
2.2 Guest Requirements
- Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation
- A valid government-issued ID is required upon check-in
- The name on the reservation must match the ID presented at check-in
- Accurate contact information (Philippine phone number and valid email) is required
2.3 Room Assignment
Our system automatically assigns an available room of your selected type. Specific room number requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed through online booking. Please contact our front desk for special room requests.
3. Payment Terms
Uptown Hotel Daet operates on a two-stage payment model for online reservations. Walk-in guests follow a separate payment process as described below.
3.1 Online Reservation Downpayment
To confirm an online reservation, a non-refundable downpayment is required at the time of booking. The following conditions apply:
- The downpayment is 25% of the total reservation amount
- A minimum downpayment of ₱200.00 applies regardless of the computed 25% — whichever is higher will be collected
- Downpayment must be submitted via GCash or bank transfer
- Proof of payment (screenshot or official receipt) must be uploaded during the booking process
- A reservation will not be confirmed until a valid proof of payment has been received and verified by staff
- The downpayment amount will be deducted from the total balance due at check-in
3.2 Balance Payment at Check-In
- The remaining balance (total minus downpayment) is collected in cash at the hotel upon check-in
- Accepted payment method at the hotel: Cash (Philippine Peso) only
- GCash, credit card, and other digital payments are not accepted for the balance payment at the hotel

The minimum downpayment of ₱200.00 applies when 25% of the total rate falls below ₱200.00. The higher amount will always be collected.
3.4 Walk-In Guests
- Walk-in guests are not required to pay a downpayment
- Full payment is collected in cash at the front desk upon check-in
- Walk-in availability is subject to room availability at the time of arrival
3.5 Pricing
- All prices are displayed in Philippine Peso (₱ / PHP)
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice
- The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored for that reservation
3.6 Additional In-Room Charges
- Extra Blanket: ₱50.00 per blanket (available upon request at the front desk)
- Overstay Extension: ₱100.00 per hour beyond the scheduled check-out time
4. Check-In, Check-Out & Stay Duration
4.1 Flexible Check-In
Check-in is available anytime, 24 hours a day. There is no fixed check-in time — the rate applied depends on the stay duration selected at the time of booking or upon walk-in at the front desk.
4.2 Rate Tiers (2 Persons Per Room)

Rates are per room, based on 2 persons. Additional guests may incur extra charges. Prices are in Philippine Peso (PHP).
4.3 Early Check-Out
Guests may check out at any time before their scheduled check-out — even if the full duration has not been consumed. No penalty is charged for early check-out.
4.4 Overstay / Extension Charges
If a guest remains beyond their scheduled check-out time, an extension fee of ₱100.00 per hour will be charged. Guests are encouraged to notify the front desk in advance if they wish to extend their stay. Extension is subject to room availability.
4.5 Children's Policy
- Children aged 1–5 years old stay FREE of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
- Children below 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during their stay.
4.6 No-Show Policy
Guests who fail to check in on the reserved date without prior cancellation will be marked as a no-show and the downpayment will be forfeited. See Section 5 for full cancellation and refund details.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellation Before Check-In
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the reserved check-in date will not incur any cancellation fee
- The downpayment may be refunded for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance — contact us directly to request a refund
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reserved check-in time will forfeit the downpayment
5.2 No-Show Policy
- Guests who fail to check in on the reserved date without prior cancellation will be marked as a no-show
- No-shows will forfeit the downpayment with no refund
5.3 Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days via the same GCash number or bank account used for the downpayment

6. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to:
- Treat hotel property and staff with respect
- Not exceed the maximum occupancy for their room type
- Observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM
- Report any damage to the room or hotel facilities immediately
- Not engage in any illegal activities on hotel premises
The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a guest's stay for violation of these rules.
7. Liability and Damages
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay
- The hotel is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings left in rooms
- The hotel maintains the right to charge guests for any damage to rooms or facilities
8. Website Accuracy
We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, including room descriptions, pricing, and amenities. However, we reserve the right to correct any errors and do not guarantee that all information is complete or current at all times.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Uptown Hotel Daet and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Daet, Camarines Norte.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
